Music:
I like listening to all kinds of songs...slow paced, fast paced, Hindi
or English. In fact if you want to take revenge on me for something you
just need to delete the Mp3 files on my computer. :)
The Singer I like the Most would definitely be Jagjit Singh. The deep
voice that he has surely does wonders to the listeners mind and soul.
Two of his Songs/Gazals that I like the most are "Tum Itna Jo Muskara
Rahe Ho" and "Hoton Se Choo Lo Tum". Other Hindi singers that I like
listening to would be Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar and Lucky Ali.
Among the English artist I like Bryan Adams a lot. Three of his songs
"Have you ever really loved a woman", "Please forgive me..." and
"Everything I do, I do it for you" would probably land up in my top 10
list. I also like listening to Enrique, Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Ricky
Martin.
Movies:
Mostly I like comedy movies... Among my favourite movies will be
Sholay, DDLJ, Jane Bhi Do Yaro, Golmaal, Lagaan and recently Dil
Chahta Hai. I liked DCH because I really believe that as friend we do
spend most of the time pulling each others legs than helping each
other. Sholay I still think is the biggest hit of Indian film industry
every. I know DDLJ and HAHK are also there but what makes Sholay stand
out is the number of memorable characters it gave... Who can forget
Gabbar, Jai , Veeru, Basanti, Thakur and even the horse Dhanno.
Remember "Chal Danno".
Among English Movies I like... Top Gun, E.T., Sixth Sense, Terminator
2, Pretty Woman. The dialogue that I remember the most from an English
movie would surely be from Top Gun. It was when Tom Cruise enters this
place with a lot of ladies around and he says
"This is what I call a target rich environment"
My favourite actor : Definitely Amir Khan... I think he is the only
actor who can fit into any kind of role... He does one movie at a time
and surely is a perfectionist. Right from "Quyamat Se Quyamat Tak" to
"Lagaan" and "DCH" he has been a great actor. I'll always remember the
scene in "Akele Hum Akele Tum" when his son is leaving the house and
he goes into the room and cries. I'll tell you a secret, its the only
movie seen that has made me cry. ;)
Actresses: I don't think there are any great actresses in Indian
movies... looks wise I like Aishwarya Rai, Sonali Bendre, Preeti Zinta.
Favourite Comedian: Laloo Prasad Yadav!! lol
People:
Among politicians I like Atal ji. I think he is a good Prime
Minister just needs to be a little strict on certain matters. I didn't
like his decision to release terrorist in exchange of safety of the
people on board flight IC-814. I also like Chandra Babu Naidu, Madhav
Rao Schindia( I felt really bad when he died) and also I.K.Gujral.
Among sport persons I admire Sachin Tendulkar (Do I have to say
anything about his greatness?), Leander Paes and Vishwanathan Anand.
Food:
Favourite food: Rajma Chaval and also Dal Makhni. After I became
non vegetarian I liked lucknow famous Tunday Kababs a lot. I must say
right now I have had very few non-veg dishes.
Drink: Pepsi and also Shikvanji (Lemonade)
